This position is in Salt Lake City, Utah

The Senior Extract, Transfer, Load (ETL) Programmer has the following responsibilities:

• Works with a national data warehouse team to extract data from multiple (disparate) database formats
• Writes code that transforms the data and loads it into a Microsoft SQL database

Candidates for this position should have the following qualifications:

• Minimum BS degree(s) in Computer Science or related scientific field
• Five years experience in Java programming, or MS degree(s) in Computer Science and three years experience in Java programming
• Prior ETL experience and knowledge of ETL tools
• Experience in Microsoft Windows SQL or Sun MicroSystem's MySQL
• Experience in many of the following: InterSystem's Caché, Eclipse development platform (including GUI); Adobe Flex, Massachusetts General Hospital Utility MultiProgramming System (MUMPS)
• Superior analytical skills
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
• Ability to interact effectively with management, users, and other programmers
• Ability to work as part of a development team
• The ability to effectively manage your time and projects
• Honesty, reliability, punctuality

This position is a full time position. You must be able to work normal business hours, at either the Niche offices or a client site. You must be willing to occasionally work a flexible schedule; there will be instances when you are required to adjust your schedule in order to meet a deadline.

We will consider applicants with a range of experience. Compensation will be based on the candidate's skills and experience.
