Front End Developer with JSP or HTML5 Expertise / Java Developer

This position is a full-time position in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Required Qualifications:

• BS degree(s) in Computer Science
• Significant experience in user interface design
• Strong user interface skills with HTML5 and/or JSP
• Experience working on an interface that communicates with a Java back end
• Experience developing desktop and web applications using JAVA for the back end
• The ability to quickly learn new development concepts and techniques
• The ability to work in a fast paced, research-based environment
• The ability to work well within and across teams
• The ability to multi task and meet project deadlines
• Excellent communication and documentation skills
• Proficient in English; able to communicate well orally and in writing to both technical and non-technical audiences

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience developing desktop and web applications using Adobe FLEX or Adobe Aire for the front end
• Experience in Flash programming
• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server and MySQL
• Significant experience with Java back end development
• Certification in "Java Distributed System Development"

This position is a full time position. You must be able to work normal business hours, at either the Niche offices or a client site. You must be willing to occasionally work a flexible schedule. There will be instances when you are required to adjust your schedule in order to meet a deadline. This position might occasionally require working over 40 hours in a week, at night and on the weekend. Niche pays additional compensation for all hours worked over 40 in any week.
